Passion & Journey
From a young age, I’ve always had a deep connection to art and craft. Inspired by the beautiful jewelry worn by my grandmother and mother, I fell in love with jewelry designs and decided to turn that passion into a career.
I pursued a Diploma in Jewelry Designing while attending college and began working at an award-winning jewelry boutique in Chennai. To deepen my expertise, I completed a Diploma in Diamond Grading, Gemstones, and Pearls from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). During my time at GIA, I freelanced as a jewelry designer across India and Dubai, which broadened my understanding of diverse styles.
Freelancing came with its challenges, yet my passion remained unwavering. With limited manufacturing experience, I embraced B2C orders while collaborating with other jewelers. Each new project introduced fresh challenges, and I grew to cherish the journey.
In October 2023, I launched AMORE by Neha Kochar, trademarked my brand, built a team, and transitioned to full-time production. This journey has been filled with leaps of faith, setbacks, and comebacks—each making me stronger.
As a woman entrepreneur in this industry, I’ve faced unique challenges. Yet, my passion for jewelry has always brought me back to my purpose. Today, I’m proud to offer something truly special—pieces that embody not just jewelry, but memories, emotions, and reflections of each wearer’s journey.
